Lives and works in Lviv, Ukraine.
Vasyl Bazhay is one of the most important representatives of contemporary Ukrainian art. His works impress with their precise artistic technique and their emotionally unique formal language.
Petro Bevza
Lives and works in Kiev, Ukraine.
Bevza explains that his ‘way’ is to find balance as we balance between two opposing worlds, the virtual (fictional) and the surrounding environment.

“Art is our passion and we want to share it with you.”
Our passion for Eastern European art has developed through our professional activities in Russia and Ukraine.
We were lucky enough to meet numerous contemporary artists in person, stroll through art gardens in Tarussa south of Moscow and experience incredible insights and views into studios and galleries in Moscow and Kiev. And we have become good friends with numerous artists.
We have carefully selected all the works; they tell us very personal stories and remind us of the past. That is what makes this collection so unique for us.

The name “URGER” is the vulgoname (farm name) of the Marchler family farm.
URGER stands for solidarity over generations, trust in one’s own creative power and passion for the extraordinary.
